LED ceiling light in compliance with medical standards.

By considering not only shadowless lamps but also base lights for a total medical light environment, we can offer a gentler medical space not only for health care professionals but patients as well.

Recommended UsesOperating room/Emergency Room/Delivery Room

Control the light color and brightness depending on the situation. We create optimal medical light environments.

By adjusting the color temperature and brightness depending on the situation, you can ensure best work efficiency and mental condition of staff in the space. Also, during surgery, eye strain for doctors and staff can be reduced through coordination with shadowless lamps. Shadowless Lamps and ceiling lights can both be coordinated and changed through control panel operation.

Staff preparation/Cleaning

Set the ceiling light to a high color temperature (noon sunlight: 6000K).

Bringing in the Patient

Set the ceiling light to a gentle color temperature (warm color: 3000K) This can help soothe a patient’s nerves when entering and leaving the surgery.

During Surgery

By setting both the ceiling light and shadowless lamps to the same color temperature (white: 4250K), you can greatly reduce eye strain for the surgeon and staff.

Endoscopy

Lower the ceiling light brightness to allow spot lighting with a shadowless lamp in the darkened room.

"Zero Flicker" light to reduce strain on the eyes

Most commonly-used LED lights control brightness by repeatedly turning on and off in extremely short intervals (PWM control). However, the flicker this causes results in strain on the eyes that most aren’t even aware of. This is true even in operating rooms. Our company’s DC lighting is constantly ON, meaning that we can offer light that is gentle on the eyes with no “flicker”.

Achieving accurate visibility and distinguishability with ultra-high color rendering LEDs.

The R9 “Red” color in the special color rendering index (Ri) including those closest to the human body, and the R15 value for Japanese skin tone are both indicated but the high value of 99, so we use ultra-high color rendering Medical LEDs. This makes the colors of blood, organs, and tissue in the operative field more visible and distinguishable, helping improve the precision of operations.

Light which brings out an object's true color and quality

Compared to ordinary LEDs, Medical LEDs have a spectrum closer to that of sunlight, and can bring out an object’s true color and quality.
Human eyes see the light reflected off an object to recognize that object. Medical LEDs can help you to recognize that reflection more accurately and illuminate more truly.

Spectral wavelength range close to sunlight

For example, you cannot draw a colorful picture without a full spectrum of crayons, If you do not have a skin-colored crayon, you have to use the next closest color, yellow, and the picture ends up different from what you imagined.
Light is the same way, so illuminating an object with a spectrum that covers all wavelengths allows that object’s true, natural colors to become visible.

Light that is gentle on the eyes with reduced blue-light risk

Blue light can cause eye strain in doctors spending long hours under unusual lighting in the operating room. Medical LEDs reduce blue light risk, with a spectrum that reduces eye strain.

Low noise so safe to use in hospitals

IXM CK conforms to Emission and Immunity standards required for the medical devices in order to prevent interference from electronic noises. It is safe and reliable to use at hospitals and other medical and welfare facilities.
